This site was launched in the UK in november and is now launched in India. Currently hotelly aggregates prices from 40 international Online Travel Agents (OTAs) like hotels.com, priceline.com, agoda.com, octopustravel.com, gtahotels.com, hotelclub.com, booking.com, venere.com, hotel-board.com, etc. According to Rate Gain CEO Bhanu Chopra the USP of Hotelly lies in the hotel walkthrough videos. He said "We are going to offer virtual hotel experience to the end consumer through user generated videos. The price comparison on various OTAs will offer best price to the end consumer." RateGain has been providing travel technology to Uk and US based travel sites for sometime now and this aggregator of reviews and hotel comparisons is an outcome of that experience. A runner up of the recent Delloite top 50 Indian program list Rate Gain is looking at expanding in India. Their CEO Chopra states "Since the concept of online bookings is gaining ground in India as well, we are working out strategies to enhance our customer base in India too." All in all the biggest competition in this segment for hotelly is travelguru.com which is does not only provide hotel booking but also has in depth reviews and pricing as well. Though the differentiator for Hotelly is its international outlook and the videos it seems to be aggregating and showcasing on its site. On the whole Indians travelling abroad will find hotelly a useful site to plan their travel and make decisions on hotels. Related PostsAlso Check Out: More Recent Articles
