Project: The Construction of Brigadier General John Jacob Memorial Orphanage and Disabled Children’s Hostel, for Jacobabad

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013

GREETING FROM CSUO JACOBABAD SINDH PAKISTAN

We, Christian Social Uplift Organization, Jacobabad, approach you in view of your compassion, concern, and support for the underprivileged in Pakistan. The appalling situation of orphaned and physically challenged children is alarming: languishing in misery, forgotten and passed by, by the unseeing eyes of the more privileged.   You also have probably:
 ·        felt sorry for these children missing out on the opportunities every child should have and
·        felt powerless to help them since the situation seems so intractable
You can be a part of the solution by supporting CSUO's humanitarian project.  I sincerely believe that what we are doing is of enormous value to distressed young people for their shelter and schooling.
APPEAL FOR DONATION
Project:  The construction of Brigadier General John Jacob Memorial Orphanage and Disabled Children's Hostel, for  Jacobabad & nearby cities of Balochistan
Our input:  We have already managed to procure the piece of land but need urgent financial assistance for construction of a building to house the disadvantaged.  The estimated cost for this project is more than 80 Million Rupees.  Please join hands with us for this pressing cause and contribute generously.

A son of a lower middle class educationist and civic-minded reformer raised in the challenging and underserved towns of Sindh, I, too, was once one of these very children and it is one of the many reasons I want to help them – some people did care to give me a chance along the way.   That's all most kids really need!
Briefly, some of our other interventions include:
-  During Super Flood 2010, CSUO provided free consultation and free medicines to 20,488 patients and provided food to 7300 families during 3 months of emergency.
-  We also distributed NFI's in 19000 households, and distributed 200 filtering jerry cans as well.
-  Despite ever increasing need for more funds, we continue to forge ahead with our goal of providing permanent shelter for the flood Affected people.

CSUO is pleased to have jointly worked with dedicated national and international governments and non-governmental organizations including NATPOW, MSF, OPERATION BLESSING, SHARING HANDS, PAKISTAN ARMY, PAKISTAN AIRFORCE, PAKISTAN NAVY, CHILDREN FIRST, GOVT OF TURKEY, UN (WHO HEALTH CLUSTER),  US STATE DEPARTMENT, MINISTRY OF MINORITY AFFAIRS, MINISTRY OF WOMEN DEVELOPMENT, HUMEDICA and RIVER SIDE.
