Summary Researching and analyzing the European and Middle - East African light vehicle sales market Roles and Responsibilities: Researching and analyzing the European and Middle - East African vehicle sales market and representing this scope of knowledge to clients in forecasts , custom reports and intelligence briefings. Using specialized knowledge of the automotive market to enrich the IHS Automotive databases. Understanding and applying IHS Automotive forecast methodologies; effectively utilizes IHS tools and data sources to form sound forecast conclusions; effectively utilize IHS databases; Supporting forecast assumptions with clients in a constructive manner. Providing commentary with analysis and rationale supporting vehicle forecasting. Ensuring that all services for which responsibility is held are produced and maintained at the highest quality levels and consistently delivered on a timely basis A bachelors degree , preferably in economics , statistics , business , or marketing equivalent in industry related experience. Three to five years experience in automotive research and forecasting or at least several years deep knowledge in the automotive industry with a good understanding of the European and / or Middle - East African automotive market. Other skills: Fluency in English written and spoken at a business level. Second language of advantage. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office to include expertise in Excel and well - practiced in PowerPoint. Above average communication skills to include writing , interpersonal and listening as well as presentation skills gained with large and small audiences. Organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and to effectively prioritize under pressure towards tight deadlines. Strong analysis skills and the ability to assess and interpret information. Strong database manipulation skills. Flexibility and the ability to creatively problem - solve.
